Yes I did a full reboot and still the same problem. I've created a new Options.ini folder yet the problem still exist. Check if your firewall/antivirus is blocking the executable from doing anything. Add generals.exe and generals.dat from both the Generals and Zero Hour directories in their exception lists.
To fix the issue, navigate out to your "My documents" folder. usually located at "C:\Users (your user profile)\Documents". open the "Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour Data" folder. you will see several files and a few subfolders. one of the subfolders is called "Replays". Right click on the replays folder, and click on properties. In the

I am the only Administrator on this system and I have just completed a full reinstallation of my Windows 7 Home Premium to see if this rectified the problem. It did not.
