Get it on PS4, game will still be amazing there. The director of ragnarok said he did a full playthrough on ps4 and said its just as good. Id buy it. The haptics and adaptive triggers on the dualsense are worth another playthrough when you do get the ps5 anyways. I'm normally a pc gamer, but I have a PS4 as a backup. I caved and bought the game instead of waiting for the pc version. I'm having a bad time with input lag and frame stuttering. Not sure if it's the game or just typical PS4 stuff my brain has suppressed in the years since I last touched my playstation. Graphics look great tho.
Maybe not the answer you were looking for but HFW is maturez stable, bugfixes, graphical glitch fixed. Ragnarok is just out and although of very high quality will only improve over the next month or so. If you're planning to play both, I'd crack open hfw first. It you're planning to only play one then probably rag. 10.
Is Ragnarok good on PS4 Pro? Just that, is the difference between the PS5 version and the PS4 Pro version massive?
I still think Ragnarok is a good game. Maybe even great. But I couldn't give it more than a 7.5/10 due to the story. In an attempt to appeal to as wide of an audience as possible, they stripped away every bit of edge that god of war has always been known for. Shit, even avengers endgame was heavier than this.
What if God of War Ragnarök had been created by Marvel Studios? r/GodofWarRagnarok • Since I still see people confused about the ending, here's the explaination from the narrative director Matt Sophos.
